Website Privacy & Cookies
Effective date: September 6, 2026
DLB Precision, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is based in Austin, Arkansas. This notice explains how we handle information collected through dlbprecision.com and related inquiries by email, business phone or text about custom PCs, upgrades, and repair services. Contact us about this notice at david@dlbprecision.com.
Information you provide
When you submit a website form or contact us about your project, we receive the information you provide. This may include your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, city and state, project description, budget, and service or shipping preferences. We also receive information you include in follow-up correspondence.
We use this information to respond to you, understand your needs, prepare a quote, discuss service and delivery options, follow up about your inquiry, and keep track of your request. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, Social Security numbers, or unrelated sensitive information in a website form.
Business phone calls and messages
We use Google Voice for our business phone number. When you call or text us, Google Voice processes communication information such as phone numbers, call dates, times and duration, and the content of text messages and voicemails. Messages, missed-call alerts and voicemails are also sent to our business Gmail account. We use these communications to respond to you and manage your inquiry or service request. See Google’s Telephony Services Privacy Disclosure for information about Google’s processing and retention.
Website hosting and usage information
Squarespace hosts this website and provides our website forms and analytics. When you visit, Squarespace processes technical information such as your IP address and browser, device, and network information to deliver and operate the website. Website analytics help us understand how visitors reach and use the site, including referring pages, pages viewed, interactions, and visit times. Squarespace's visitor activity log is enabled, so information about individual website visits remains available to us.
Form submissions are available to us in Squarespace, and inquiry notifications are sent to david@dlbprecision.com so we can receive and respond to your request.
Cookies and protection against spam
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We have configured Squarespace to restrict nonessential cookies, including its analytics and performance cookies. We do not display a cookie-consent banner or offer an on-site option to enable those cookies.
Necessary cookies and related technologies support website operation and security. Restricting Squarespace's nonessential cookies does not stop all technical information or website activity from being processed, and it does not necessarily block every cookie used by third-party services.
The homepage also uses browser session storage to remember your choice to turn its animation on or off for that session.
We use Google reCAPTCHA to help protect website forms against spam, fraud, and abuse. reCAPTCHA processes information about the browser session to assess risk and uses a security cookie for that purpose. Google processes reCAPTCHA customer data to provide and maintain the service and its security protections. Details are available in Google's reCAPTCHA data-processing information.
You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect website features. See Squarespace's explanation of cookies used on its hosted websites for more information about its cookie categories and durations.
Browser tracking signals and third-party tracking
Our restriction on nonessential Squarespace cookies applies to all visitors, whether or not their browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Do Not Track does not stop all collection: Squarespace analytics can still record page views. Squarespace explains that, with Chrome's Do Not Track setting enabled, each page view is counted separately for visits and unique visitors. Squarespace describes this behavior here.
Squarespace may collect personal information about your visits over time and across different websites it hosts, including this website. This includes IP addresses and browser, device, and site-usage information that Squarespace processes independently for platform security and integrity, as described in its Privacy Policy.
Google reCAPTCHA also receives browser-session information for fraud and abuse prevention. Google's current terms limit reCAPTCHA data processing to providing and maintaining the service and its security protections; they exclude use for Google's personalized advertising. See Google's service-specific terms.
Service providers and disclosures
Squarespace processes information to host the website, handle forms, and provide analytics. Google processes information through reCAPTCHA for the security purposes described above. Google Voice processes business calls, text messages and voicemails as described above. Our email service processes messages when we correspond with you.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or valid legal process, or as necessary to investigate abuse, address a security incident, or protect legal rights.
How long we keep information
We retain website, email, business-phone and text inquiries and related correspondence, including relevant messages and voicemails, for 24 months after our last contact with you. We retain invoice and warranty records for five years after the completed transaction. We may retain relevant information longer when required by law or needed for an unresolved warranty matter, legal claim, or dispute.
Requests about your information
You can email david@dlbprecision.com to ask about personal information you have provided to us, request a correction, or request deletion. We may need information to verify your request. A request may be limited by applicable law or by information we need to retain for an ongoing transaction, a legal obligation, or a dispute. We will explain any applicable limitation in our response.
Links to other websites
If you follow a link to another website, that website's privacy practices apply to your activity there. Review its privacy information before providing personal information.
Changes to this notice
We will post updates on this page and change the effective date above. If applicable law requires additional notice of a change, we will provide it.
